Goal:
The Capstone will celebrate and recognize the successes of nearly two years of work in the WARRP project by the local, state and federal partners. The presentations will inform the participants about the WARRP products and highlight the applied research projects that have contributed to the advancement of the understanding of wide-area Chemical, Biological, and Radiological (CBR) incident recovery & resiliency
The Sessions will include presentations and displays following:
- Discuss Knowledge Products that support Whole Community approach to all-hazards recovery planning, in alignment with the National Disaster Recovery Framework. Program highlights: Denver UASI All-Hazards Regional Recovery Framework; National Urban Area Recovery Plan Guidance document
- Review Technical Planning Guidance that enables long-term recovery planning from a catastrophic CBR incident. Program highlights: CBR Annexes to Regional Recovery Framework; Key Planning Factors Guidance for CBR Incidents; Critical Infrastructure and Economic Impact Considerations for CBR Incidents
- Showcase Science & Technology development and demonstrations of materiel solutions. Program highlights: Technical advances for wide area recovery and remediation operations following a catastrophic CBR incident
- Highlight Transition Process development to ensure successful transition of WARRP products to sustaining and operating agents. Program highlights: Signed Transition Agreements with various state and federal agencies to carry the work and products of WARRP forward
- Provide a Look Ahead at Recovery & Resiliency for other regions of the country. Program Highlights: New efforts underway to tackle a wider spectrum of challenges in a wider geographical area, including agricultural defense issues
